What A Lease Actually Is
A lease is a finance arrangement. You sign for a fixed term, usually a few years, and a lender checks your credit before any of it happens.
Some leases end with the option to buy the car. That is the point of them for a lot of people.
None of that suits three months. The paperwork alone takes longer than it is worth, and most lenders will not write a term that short.
What You Probably Want Instead
A weekly rental does the same job for a short stretch. One price for the car, paid week by week, for as long as you need it.
There is no credit application, and no term running on past the point you stop needing the car. If your plans change at month two, there is nothing to unwind.
Three Months Is Thirteen Weeks
Worth knowing, because the week is the unit that matters when you rent.
At MCSyo, 13 weeks is the minimum for rideshare driving, so three months lands exactly on it. Under 13 weeks there is a one off $100 admin fee, and at 13 weeks or more it is waived.
For private use, rather than rideshare, call us. Those terms are still being set and we would rather say so than guess at them.
What To Check On Any Three Month Arrangement
- Whether there is a kilometre limit, and what each extra kilometre costs.
- Who pays for servicing and tyres over three months, because at that length it comes up.
- What happens if you need to finish early, and what that costs.
- Whether you are allowed to use the car for the driving you actually plan to do.
If You Do Want To Own It At The End
Then a rental is the wrong tool and we will say so. Our sister company Toybrids does rent-to-own. MCSyo rents, and nothing about renting leads to owning the car.
How It Works Here
Every car is a Toyota hybrid with unlimited kilometres, and servicing and tyres are on us. The whole arrangement is on our page about weekly car rental in Perth.
