What You Are Renting

You are renting a Toyota hybrid from MCSyo, week by week. You are not buying it and you will not own it.

The car stays ours the whole time. You return it when you finish.

Money

Security Bond

A bond is paid before you take the car. It is $800 if your weekly rent is under $297, and $1,000 at $297 or more.

We hold the bond as security. We do not spend it.

You get the bond back within 3 business days of returning the car in good condition.

What Counts As Damage

Damage is anything a reasonable person would call damage.

Normal wear and tear is not damage. That is part of renting a car and you do not pay for it.

A scratch on a panel is damage, even when the car still drives well. It lowers what the car is worth, and it makes the car harder to rent out or sell later.

Weekly Rent

Rent is paid every week, in advance. The amount depends on which car you take.

Every car has its own weekly rent. It is shown on the car, on the Our Cars page.

The price does not change based on how far you drive.

Admin Fee

A $100 admin fee applies if you rent for less than 13 weeks. If you rent for 13 weeks or more, there is no admin fee.

Kilometres

Kilometres are unlimited. There is no cap and no charge for driving further.

Long airport runs and trips down the coast cost you nothing extra.

Using The Car

• You may drive for Uber and DiDi. Every car meets the WA rules for both.
• You may use the car for personal trips, shopping, school runs and weekends.
• Only drivers named on the agreement may drive the car.
• The car must not be used for anything illegal.

You can add a second driver. Ask us first and we will quote you, because a second driver can cost extra.

Only one named driver may use the car for rideshare or any other paid work.

Running Costs

We pay for servicing, maintenance, mechanical repairs and tyres. You will not get a repair bill from us for normal wear.

You pay for these:

• Fuel. The cars take 98 premium unleaded only, and nothing else.
• Keeping the car clean.
• Windscreen repair or replacement.
• Any fines or tolls you get while driving.
• Topping up oil and fluids between services.

If Something Goes Wrong

Call us straight away. Do not wait until your next payment is due.

If the car has a fault, we will tell you what to do next.

If your car has to go off the road, we give you a replacement car.

Ending The Rental

You rent week to week, so there is no long contract to break.

Tell us when you want to finish. Return the car, and we return your bond.

You give us 2 weeks notice, which is a minimum of 14 days.

The notice period always ends on a Sunday.

Signing

The agreement is signed in person at our office. It takes about five minutes.

Bring your licence card and your visa details if you are not an Australian citizen.
