What Unlimited Means On An MCSyo Car
There is no daily allowance and no weekly allowance, so you never reach a number that starts costing you cents per kilometre.
It applies to every car on our list, not to some of them, and it does not depend on how long you rent for.
If you want the general explanation of how kilometre limits work in car hire, we wrote that out separately: what does unlimited km mean in car rental.
Why The Cap Is The Thing To Check
Plenty of hire companies in Perth include a set number of kilometres a day and charge for each one after that. Some offer unlimited kilometres only on longer bookings, or only on certain cars.
That arrangement is hard to budget for. A driver doing airport runs can pass a daily allowance before lunch.
So when you compare hire in Perth, find the kilometre line in the terms first. It changes the real cost more than the headline weekly figure does.
What Else The Weekly Price Covers
- Servicing, mechanical repairs and tyres from normal use. We pay for those.
- A registered Toyota hybrid, serviced before you collect it.
- No bank. You do not apply for finance, and there is no loan in your name.
- No credit check, which matters if you are new to Australia.
Who Needs The Kilometres
- Drivers working for Uber or DiDi in Perth, where distance is the job.
- Trades and delivery work covering the metro area all day.
- Families driving between suburbs for school, work and sport.
- Anyone whose week does not look the same twice.
A hybrid helps here too. The more kilometres you cover, the more the fuel difference shows up in your own pocket, because the fuel is the one running cost that stays with you.
